Dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom, Basant Panchmi is a festival which marks the advent of the spring season in India.

On the auspicious day of Basant Panchami, a special assembly was held at St. Kabir School Drive In.

 The celebrations started with prayers to attain the blessings from Goddess Saraswati to reach the epitome of knowledge.

The students of std. VIII, IX and XI  offered yellow flowers and sweets to the goddess. The significance of Basant Panchami was explained through speeches and children in yellow coloured costumes performed graceful dances which spread positive vibes and created a divine atmosphere.

It was indeed a magnificent way to honour Goddess Saraswati!
