Y ash Rajpuriya shone in an allround display while Ranganath Parekh rocked the rival boat with the ball as St Kabir School edged out NR High School (NRHS) by virtue of the first innings lead in multiday under-19 Diwan Ballubhai School Tournament.

At CN Sports Academy, Yash top scored with 81-ball 79 while Sandeep Mohanta added 130-ball 64 as St Kabir posted 268 in their first innings.

For NRHS, Karan Bhatt was the star of the show with six wickets but clearly lacked the support from the other end.

Rampaging Ranganath

Ranganath then ran through the rival picking up seven wickets in the process, while Yash picked the other three wickets, as St Kabir bowled out their rivals for 153 to take deciding 115-run first innings lead.

For NRHS, Shivam Brahmbhatt top scored with 34-ball 27.

With the fate of the match already decided, Shantanu Sharma top scored with run-a-ball 35 as St Kabir posted 86 for five in the remaining time.

For NRHS, Karan picked two wickets.
