St. Kabir High School, Navrangpura kids visited MEMNAGAR FIRE STATION AND KHOJ MUSEUM
Students of STD IV visited FIRE STATION & Khoj museum on 30th November 2022. The main aim was to have fun and build inquisitiveness while exploring the fire station and museum, in the process students learnt and understood different concepts in- depth and further build their own small movements to promote the concept of innovation. They enjoyed the visit from bus to museum.
At fire station, the students learnt about the different types of trucks firefighters use, including pumper trucks and ladder trucks. The officer explained how the many tools that are stored on different trucks are used in fighting fires. A live demo was shown how the fire is blow off. The Students learnt about the control system and functioning of fire station and how the officers being community helpers, help the society at its best.
At Khoj museum they reconnected their knowledge with climate changes, gathered information about plastics and connected to soil. Various activities were given to the students and they acquired knowledge through wonderful hands-on activities, interactive displays and experiments. The set-up of labs help young students to gain in-depth knowledge, experiment, observe and understand concept of climate changes, soil, plastic and 4 R s (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).
