StKabir School’s bowlers starred as they defeated Vidhyanagar high school (VHS) by 176 runs in the under-16 Dhirubhai Ambani School Tournament held at Shivay Ground. Electing to bat first, St Kabir boys posted a total of 193 runs in 54.2 overs. Swapnil Negi top scored with 28-ball 43. For VHS, Sharvil Rathod scalped four wickets while Japagna Bhatt picked three wickets.

Returning with the bat, VHS collapsed to a mere total of 102 runs in 40.2 overs. Japagna top scored with 54-ball 37. For St Kabir, Het Parikh scalped five wickets. Meanwhile in second innings, St Kabir presented a poor batting show, posting 138 runs in 54 overs. Shrey Parsania top scored with 53- ball 23. For VHS, Japagna seemed to be a lone warrior as he scalped seven wickets. VHS in the second innings, couldn’t do anything better and collapsed to a paltry total of 53 runs in 36.3 overs cruising the score. Vishwas Detroja top scored with 62-ball 15. For SVS, Ankit Kushwah picked three wickets.
