Rahul Jain shone in an allround display as Sant Kabir School (SKS) overcame NR High School (NRHS) by virtue of the first innings lead in multi-day under-19 Diwan Ballubhai School Tournament on Saturday. Asked to bat, an over-cautious Dhruvin Purohit top-scored with an unbeaten 206-ball 80 while Rahul chipped in with 105-ball 55 as SKS posted 261 in the first innings. For NRHS, Meet Vyas and Rushil Chavda took three wickets each.

Rahul then returned to torment NRHS with the ball as his four wickets pegged them back. Ansh Patel top-scored with 72- ball 44 as NRHS were bowled out for 175 in the first innings. The 86-run lead proved to be the decider as SKS batted out the remaining time to post 47 for no loss in their second innings.
