A session on menstrual awareness was organized by St. Kabir High School, Navrangpura, for the girls of Classes VI to IX on 23^rd March’2022 in association with Ahmedabad Medical Association – Ladies Club. It was conducted by Dr. Praful.

 The aim of the session was to make the girls aware about menstrual cycle and the importance of maintaining hygiene during menstruation. Various myths that are associated with periods were also discussed with them to remove the taboo that is associated with periods. Science behind menstruation along with basic hygiene that should be maintained during periods was explained to the students very well. .

The whole session was very informative and it was a great platform for our girls to get an answer to a series of menstruation-related queries.
