St. Kabir School, Ahmedabad conducted an ONLINE Inter School Mythological Quiz Competition “Bhavatu Bhaaratam Season – 9 “on Sat 11th Dec 2021.15 leading schools from different states of the country including State Public School, Jalandhar, Seth Anandiram Jaipuria School, Lucknow & Hillwoods Academy, New Delhi. A total of 60 participants from grades 6 to 9 accompanied by their teachers participated in this Quiz. The modern world and our generation is highly influenced by the western culture and hence St Kabir School organises Bhavatu Bhaaratam every year  to ensure that we don’t lose our connections with our roots, our traditions, our customs and our mythological stories,  heroes and philosophy.

The program commenced by invoking Lord Ganesha with prayers sung by students.

This time the special round was dedicated to BHISHMA.

As a tribute, the welcome dance was dedicated to his mother Goddess Ganga. The Quiz began with the preliminary written round. Top 6 teams of this written round qualified for the final quiz which included Rachana School, Ahmd, DPS Bopal, Ahmd & Jamnabai Narsee School, Gandhinagar.

Various innovative & interesting themes for different rounds of the Quiz were conceptualized very well by the Creative Advisor of the school Ms Preeti Bhatt who also played role of the Quiz Master.  Being synonymous with Bhishma, each of the 6 finalists were asked to take a vow to uplift the culture and heritage of India in their own way. The Guru Shishya dumb charades round turned out to be a fun round where teachers acted out a mythological character and their students guessed. 

Kashvi Ruparelia of Anand Niketan School, Satellite Ahmedabad emerged as the final winner. Nirva Mavani of Maharaja Agrasen Vidyalaya, Ahmedabad and Nilay Gidwani of St. Kabir School, Navrangpura Ahmedabad were declared runners up.
