KABIRIANS TRIED TO BRING ABOUT A CHANGE!!
Excessive use of digital screen media (screen time) is a global public health issue associated with adverse mental and physical health outcomes, especially for children.
During the past few years children of all ages have not only obtained access to the possibilities of traditional screens like TV but additionally have access to new screen technologies like computers, tablets, smartphones, etc.
Hence the students of Std. 6 of St. Kabir School Drive in A block conducted an interactive session under the guidance of teachers on ‘Reducing Screen Time’ by performing a skit, asking questions and showing an impactful video to the students of Std 4 and 5 to make them understand about reducing screen time.
After interaction, the children were able to understand and they took a pledge to reduce screen time and spend more quality time with the family members. They came with effective strategies and understood that reducing screen time can open more time in the day for physical activities that keeps our body healthy.
