Understanding the importance of the Indian festival of Janmashtami and glorifying Indian traditions with the young generation, the festival of Janmashtami was celebrated  with great zeal and pomp  at St. Kabir School  Drive In Branch on 23^rd August 2024.

The celebration started with an inspiring speech notifying the children about the importance of Janmashtami.

The spirit of festivity was enhanced with a mesmerizing Instrumental Bongo presentation by the student of std. 3.

The students of Std. I sang songs of Lord Krishna with a lot of admiration and enthusiasm.

Children of Std. III and IV dressed up as ‘Radha’ and ‘Krishna’ danced on the beats of Janmashtami songs  giving  a traditional touch to the entire celebration.

The celebration concluded with ‘Matki Phod’ being the highlight of the celebration. 

The Human Pyramid made by the children to reach ‘Dahi Handi’ was indeed marvellous. The lively performance created an aura of gaiety and enchantment. A splendid tribute was paid to Lord Krishna which will continue to cherish in our memories!!
