True education is when students connect to the real world and that is what St. Kabir School believes in.
The students of Std I of St. Kabir School Drive In A Block went for an educational trip to Kankaria Kids City. Children were accompanied by their parents.
This was a real time miniature world where our students experienced the processes which drive various industries. We had fire fighters managing an emergency, chefs making wonderful dishes, doctors handling patients, RJ at radio station and many more.
Kids City is a replica of a city with roads, vehicles and a whole lot of activities like bank, fire station, science lab, radio station, police station, court room and prison, dental as well as medical hospital, theatre, BRTS, heritage gallery, town governance, IT centre, News room, ice-cream factory, etc.
Kids also got uniforms and equipments to play roles of various occupations that adults have like doctors, RJs, fire-fighters and manufacturers, just as in real life. The young students were enthusiastically running a pizza store, a beverage factory and a snack plant.
Their dabbling in various activities helped them appreciate the world around us and the kind of work which goes into making products, which seem so simple and readily available. It also helped them in finding out their areas of interest along with enjoying participating in various activities. It was really great fun with learning.
