KABIRIANS ENJOYED THE INFORMATIVE TRIP TO DASTAN GIR GAUSHALA, VINTAGE CAR AND SARDAR PATEL MUSEUM
Learning outside the confines of classroom has its own charm. It offers students an opportunity to interact with classmates and teachers in a more informal environment.
Hence St. Kabir School Drive In A Block had organized an educational trip to Dastan Gir Gaushala, Vintage Car and Sardar Patel National Memorial on 19th October 2023 for the students of Std. IV.
The students were first taken to ‘Dastan Gir Gaushala’ where they learnt about the processing of making ghee and butter from milk. Cups of buttermilk were distributed to the students which they enjoyed relishing.
After that, they visited Vintage Car Museum which is a private museum which houses the largest collection of vintage cars and other automobiles in the country.
With a fascinating display of 118 vintage cars, motorbikes, utility vehicles, and horse-drawn buggies, the museum showcases automobiles from around the world and different eras. It also celebrates India’s automobile heritage by displaying cars and vehicles that once belonged to the maharajas and rulers of the country. So this initiative was taken to enhance the knowledge of the students in respect of cars.
The students were amazed to see a wonderful collection of cars which included cars from distinguished brands like Rolls-Royce, Mercedes, Bentley, Maybach, Cadillac, Auburn, Daimler, Lagonda, Buick, Lincoln, and Packard, to name a few.
Lastly the children went to Sardar Patel National Memorial where they learnt about the entire life of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
One of the major highlights of this museum was the 3D sound, light and laser show which offered a unique experience and children loved watching it.
The trip helped students develop their linguistic, logical, naturalistic as well as inter and intra personal skill. It was a great learning experience.
We are deeply thankful to Director Madam, Director Sir and the school management for arranging such informative trips. This beautiful journey wouldn’t have been possible without their kind support and encouragement.
