KABIRIANS CELEBRATED 9TH INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY
As rightly said…Yoga is a great practice for both the body and the mind, it offers peace and mindfulness to its lovers and helps them get through daily stress.
International Yoga Day is celebrated on 21st June every year. It was introduced by our honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. It helps us to become better human beings with a sharp mind, a good heart and a relaxed soul.
Today it is practiced in various forms around the world and continues to grow in popularity.
St. Kabir School Drive In also celebrated International Yoga day with a lot of enthusiasm. Kabirians performed various asanas to bring harmony between the mind and the body.
Our main aim was to promote enhanced mental and physical health, make the students aware of Yoga’s holistic benefits and to assist students to connect with nature while practising Yoga daily.
The children understood the importance of yoga. They learnt Yoga techniques for self-health, relaxation and concentration which will help them to navigate life’s challenges with a little more ease. They were indeed motivated to make yoga an important part of their lives.
