KABIRIANS CELEBRATE VISHVA SANSKRIT DIWAS…
Sanskrit is considered one of the world’s oldest languages, originating in India around 3,500 years ago. The day is celebrated on Shraavana Poornima, which is a day to remember ancient Indian sages.
The students of St. Kabir school Drive In branch celebrated Vishva Sanskrit Diwas to promote the importance of Sanskrit and encourage students to learn it as well as to explore the beauty of Sanskrit and its rich literary treasure trove.
A short assembly was conducted in which the programme started with Swasti Vachan along with Ganesh Vandana.
Komal madam, our Sanskrit teacher explained the importance of Sanskrit and even shared Sanskrit facts. The students played a game in Sanskrit followed by a short skit presentation in Sanskrit language.
The students presented jokes in Sanskrit through a Puppet Show which was interesting and enjoyable.
The celebration of World Sanskrit Day was a testament to our school’s commitment to preserving and promoting cultural heritage.
As we reflect on this day, let us remember that languages, like Sanskrit, are not mere means of communication but vessels that carry the essence of a civilization.
