“Poetry is the core of literature.” To spread the fragrance of poetry among the children, St. Kabir School had organized an Inter Branch English Recitation Competition on 18^th October 2024 for the students of Std. 1 to 5.

Students came up with a variety of poems and enthusiastically participated in the competition as they got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence.

The competition inspired the young poets to come forward and recite on stage.

Students were judged on the parameters like confidence, voice articulation, diction and overall presentation.

The young poets enthralled the audience with their articulation and memory skills while reciting poems.

It was a fabulous opportunity for them to gain confidence through stage exposure. Everyone was delighted after seeing their pleasing performances.

The judges appreciated and applauded the performances of all the participants as they had a tough time deciding the winners.

Finally Drive In A Block won 9 prizes thereby becoming the ‘Champions’ of the Inter Branch English Recitation Competition.

It was indeed a great day!!
