INTER SCHOOL U-14 CRICKET – ANOTHER WIN FOR ST KABIR
After an impressive bowling display, Ark Patel also dominated with the bat as St Kabir School (SKS) claimed a comfortable win against Asia English School (AES) in the under-14 HC Kapasi School Tournament held at Gujarat ‘B’ ground on Tuesday. Electing to field after winning the toss, SKS were bang on. Ark’s brilliant spell of four for six runs followed by Priyen Trivedi’s three for one was enough to destroy AES’ batting as they were bowled out for 53 runs inside 44.1 overs.
SKS continued to dominate, this time with the bat. The batsmen built steadly and slowly to take the score to 279 all out in 115 overs. Devdhan Patwa top-scored with a cautious 246-ball 82 while Ark shined yet again with 123-ball 63. In the third innings, AES looked to change the game but couldn’t provide a winner as the match went in SKS’ favour after 23 overs with the score 55/4. Anuj Parikh top-scored for AES with a 27-ball 16 while Manav bagged a wicket for SKS.
