HARSHVARDHAN, RAHUL STAR FOR ST KABIR SCHOOL

Chasing a low score, Harshvardhan Singh and Rahul Ahuja did enough to ensure St Kabir School (SKS) claimed an easy seven-wicket win against Ankur High School (AHS) in the under-19 Shree Siddhi Group Tournament on Monday.

At the Motera `C’ ground, AHS failed to live up to the decision to bat first.Ronak Daxini slammed a 45-ball 30 for AHS, but SKS bowlers had other plans.

Yash Rajpuria rattled the opposition with three wickets and Ruturaj Desai took another two as they bowled out AHS for 110 runs in 33.1overs.

SKS continued to dominate in the second innings. This time with the bat, Harshvardhan scored an unbeaten 47 of 56 balls, while Rahul added 47 more from 64 balls as SKS completed the chase in 24.4 overs with seven wickets in hand.   Farhan Pathan scalped a wicket for the losing side.
