Janmashtami   is the birthday of Lord Krishna which is celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the country.

Kabirians too celebrated Janmashtami with religious fervour and passion on 18^th August 2022.

The little scholars of pre-primary section of St. Kabir School Drive In dressed as Radha and Krishna, added a traditional touch to the entire celebration as they danced to the beat of Janmashtami songs, filling the air with joy and festive spirit.

A dance drama was performed by the students of Std 4 which depicted a scene from the Krishna Leela followed by melodious song and vibrant dance performances  which made everyone spellbound and joyful. The celebration concluded with ‘Matki Phod’ being the highlight of the celebration. 

The Human Pyramid made by the children to reach ‘Dahi Handi’ was indeed marvellous. The delightful shower was a perfect conclusion of the celebration. A splendid tribute was paid to Lord Krishna which will continue to cherish in our memories!!
