The students of St. Kabir School  Drive In enthusiastically participated in various activities to commemorate our benevolent Mother Earth. 
On the occasion of the Earth Day, an array of creative activities were organized with a view to sensitize the children about the conservation of natural resources and to motivate them to do their bit towards making our planet even more beautiful. 
A special assembly was also held to celebrate this special day wherein few students presented plants in the assembly and explained about it’s medicinal values while others spoke on different topics like sustainable development, conservation and development, population pressure, etc.  This was followed by a skit on the theme ‘Invest in our planet’  which was portrayed so beautifully that it became the highlight of the celebration.  The teachers also shared interesting facts and information to motivate the students to do their bit for the planet and the environment.  
Children even expressed their feelings for Mother Earth through paintings, speeches and made videos to sensitize others about saving our environment thereby giving a beautiful message to make our planet a better place.
