BHAVATU BHARATAM” – A Tribute to Indian Mythology at St. Kabir School

St. Kabir School conducted the Mythological Quiz Competition “Bhavatu Bhaaratam” Season 10 on Saturday, 3rd December. Eighteen schools participated in the competition. The quiz was designed and conducted by the Creative Advisor, Ms Preeti Bhatt. The welcome note was delivered in Sanskrit language by the students of St. Kabir School and a graceful and exuberant ‘Vishnu Stuti’ dance was performed as a welcome dance. Questions related to the ancient literature, holy books, Gods and Goddesses were asked during the competition testing knowledge of the resplendent Indian Culture and Mythology.

The quiz started with a preliminiary round where all the schools participated and six finalists were chosen to play further. The quiz consisted of six rounds, namely, ‘Granth Kosh Round’, ‘Satya Mithya Round’, Guru Shishya Round’, ‘Chakravyuh Round’, ‘Chapalta Se Safalta Round’, and a special round which was dedicated to ‘Narad Muni’.

The quiz included eminent aspects of various religions that originated and flourished in our country adding magnificence of our most revered motherland. The audience also participated unthusiastically during the quiz when the questions were passed on to them. ‘Udgam School’ and ‘St. Kabir School, Navrangpura branch’ emerged as the Winners and Runners up respectively.

The winning was given away by the Director of St. Kabir School, Mrs Shubhra Kumar. St Kabir will keep organising “Bhavatu Bhaaratam” year by year so that the young children of different schools are exposed to the rich and resplendent Indian Culture and Mythology.
