ANOTHER WIN FOR ST KABIR SCHOOL – UNDER – 14 KAPASI INTER SCHOOL TOURNAMENT

St Kabir School (SKS) showed their batting might as they edged out MK High School (MKHS) by virtue of the first innings lead in multiday under-14 HC Kapasi School Tournament at Motera C. Laay Bhavsar took four wickets as SKS bowled out their rivals for 149 in the first innings after winning the toss. For MKHS, Rohan Patel top scored with 77-ball 41while Shivam Prajapati chipped in with 101-ball 36.

Krish Sharma (89-ball 60), Laay (88-ball 57) and Jugal Chawla (112- ball 55) scored contrasting half centuries as SKS posted 355 in reply. Jay Nimji too chipped in with 110-ball 45 as SKS took the deciding 206-run first innings lead. For MKHS, Rohan Patel took four wickets. With the fate of the match sealed, SKS batted out the remaining overs to post 60 for two in the second innings with Harshal Gujjar top scoring with 39-ball 28. For the losing side, Meetesh Babbar took both the wickets in the second essay.
