St Kabir School take Hiramani to task
St Kabir School defeated Hira mani School in the multi day league match of the Dhi rubhai Ambani U-16 School Tournament that was played at Motera Academy. Electing to bat first, Hiramani batters did not read the conditions well and managed to post 139 in 62.5 overs in the first innings.Shivam Magaiwala was the pick of the bowlers for St Kabir, scalping 4 for 26, whereas Prarthit Rao top scored for Hiramani with 33 of 50 deliveries.
St Kabir could easily capitalise on the conditions and posted a lead of 126 runs having scored 265 in105.1overs in their first innings. Shrey Parsania top scored with 70 of 147 balls and was well supported by Shantanu Sharma who made a breezy 58 of 153 deliveries.Dhruv Parekh picked up 5 St Kabir wickets and gave away 62 runs. With the lead on board Hiramani failed with the bat again in their second innings and managed to score 149 in 74 overs, racking up an abysmal lead of 23 runs.
St Kabir completed the game in 10.4 overs, having scored 27 for the loss of three wickets and won the game by seven wickets.
