City cricketers Raj Majeth ia and Karan Trivedi alongwith Sumit Gosian of Bharuch were selected to represent the West Zone in the under-19 Vinoo Mankad Trophy Inter-Zonal that will be conducted from October 17 to 23.

 All three represented the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) in the West Zone tournament that saw Mumbai grab the champions trophy. GCA had mixed luck during the cam paign, beating Baroda and Maharashtra while facing defeats against Saurashtra and champions Mumbai.
