Being surrounded by urban areas and industrial areas, it can be hard to take the time to embrace the nature around us. By taking the time to venture out into the natural world, you can immensely improve your physical and mental health.
Grade 5 students during a nature walk, observed and identified various plants, animals, and other natural elements, enhancing their observation skills. They understood the relationships within ecosystems and the importance of biodiversity. The activity raised their awareness of environmental conservation and the impact of human activities on nature. Students applied classroom knowledge to real-life situations and reflect on how they can contribute to ecological balance. Additionally, the walk promoted teamwork and improved their sensory perception of the environment.
