LESSONS I LEARNT FROM GANDHIJI
One of the most significant lessons we can learn from Mahatma Gandhi is the importance of non-violence and forgiveness. As he famously said, “An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind” ¹. This quote emphasizes the need to break the cycle of violence and retaliation, and instead choose the path of forgiveness and understanding.
In today’s era, where conflicts and disagreements are rampant, Gandhi’s message of non-violence is more relevant than ever. By adopting this approach, we can create a more harmonious and peaceful world. Implementing Gandhi’s beliefs in the contemporary world could result in beneficial transformations. His focus on non-violence can offer direction for peaceful conflict resolution in personal and global disagreements.
