GUARDIANS OF THE GREEN EARTH By Freya Jadeja (Class V B)
In the heart of our world, where nature sings,
Mother Earth whispers, of wondrous things.
But changes are coming, the climate’s askew,
It’s time to act, it’s up to me and you.
Mother Nature says, “My forests are thinning, my glaciers retreat,
My creatures are dwindling in the rising heat.”
The rivers run dry, the skies filled with smoke,
Our beautiful planet begins to choke.
We must reduce waste, and recycle with care,
Turn off the lights, and show we are aware.
Planting new trees, and walking, not driving,
Will keep our Earth thriving, and wildlife surviving.
Use less plastic, conserve water too,
Little actions from us can make dreams come true.
Mother Nature says, “The time is now, hear my plea,
For future generations, protect and cherish me.”
Our Earth is precious, a gift to behold,
A story of life, that needs to be told.
We are its guardians, both young and old,
Together we’ll save it, be brave and bold.
