Janmashtami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and famous reincarnations of Lord Vishnu.

To celebrate the extraordinary bond between children and the Almighty, St. Kabir School  Drive In A Block took the opportunity to celebrate Janmashtami with a wide range of cultural performances and activities. Children sang melodious bhajans and a splendid and colourful dance performance was presented by the students of std. I, 8 and 9 and 11.

The main attraction of the celebration was breaking of the treasure filled Matki. We could witness the aura of divinity throughout the celebration as we all remembered Lord Krishna on this auspicious occasion.
