KABIRIANS CELEBRATE WORLD SANSKRIT DAY…..
World Sanskrit Day is celebrated on 31st August every year. It is celebrated to create awareness and promote one of the ancient and oldest Indian languages namely Sanskrit.
Sanskrit language has a great significance. It is the oldest language of the world and is known to be the foundation of different classical texts in fields like Literature, Philosophy, Mathematics, and Science.
So in order to spread awareness and encourage the younger generation to learn Sanskrit, St. Kabir School Drive In A Block had organized a special assembly. The students of Std. V to IX spoke News and Thought in Sanskrit language, presented a puppet show and a song in Sanskrit.
The highlight of the event was a wonderful dance, a skit and a game to promote it’s revival and importance of Sanskrit language. It was indeed a real tribute paid to Sanskrit language!!
