KABIRIANS CELEBRATE WOMEN’S EQUALITY DAY

Gender equality is important for the progress of any nation. Women should not be deprived of their basic rights, be it the right to vote.

So every year on 26th August, the world observes Women’s Equality Day. It is a sign of progress and serves as a reminder of the continuous struggle for equal rights and opportunities for all women.

St. Kabir School Drive In A block too celebrated Women’s Equality Day in a unique way.  A special assembly was organized where the students of std 8 presented a  wonderful ‘Nukkad Natak’ thereby creating awareness that women’s contribution is important for the progress of any nation. After watching the ‘Nukkad Natak’, the audience understood that we need to come together and take action to create a more equal and just society for all. It was indeed an eye- opener!
