KABIRIANS CELEBRATE WORLD LION DAY…

We, Indians, express pride in India’s status as the home of the Asiatic Lions. These majestic animals are known for their strength, courage, and power.

But these famous creatures, known as the ‘King of the Jungle,’ however, suffer a slew of dangers, including habitat degradation owing to human expansion, hunting, poaching, and disputes with livestock producers.

Hence World Lion Day is celebrated annually on 10th August  to raise awareness about the situation of lions and their critical role in the environment. This is due to the threats ranging from habitat loss to illegal hunting.

So the students of Std V from St. Kabir School Drive In A Block celebrated the day with great roars in order to safeguard Mother Earth by preventing the extinction of lions. The students tried to create a positive influence on the lion population globally to ensure their continued presence as symbols of courage and strength in our natural world.
