KABIRIANS GO FOR LEARNING BEYOND CLASSROOMS…!!!
On 25th November “22 the students of Std. 8 of St. Kabir School, Drive In branch went on an educational trip to Vidhan Sabha along with the teachers.
They visited the Adalaj Vav and learnt about the beautiful stepwell and its implications in today’s time. They observed the wonderful architectural style of the structures built by the Vaghela dynasty during the 15th century. The students appreciated the great Indian heritage at this place. They understood the grandeur and splendor of the Indian culture and heritage. They could feel the pride over Ahmedabad getting the status of World Heritage City as declared by UNESCO.
Later during the day, they also visited the Gujarat Vidhan Sabha and learnt about the functioning of the legislative assembly. They asked questions about the details of the MLAs and the proceedings of the house and thus satisfied their queries about the governance and law making. The resource persons at the Vidhan Sabha as well as the school teachers explained at length the role and responsibilities of the ministers as well as the MLAs. They understood the importance of the Speaker in the house. The students were awed at the fact that the mobile network is jammed during the assembly sessions so that nobody can talk to and from the Vidhan Sabha.
It was an enriching educational trip wherein the students were satisfied and pleased with the learning!
It was a memorable trip indeed!!
