KABIRIANS ENJOYED THE INFORMATIVE TRIP TO VINTAGE CAR AND PARLE – G….
Learning outside the confines of classroom has its own charm. It offers students an opportunity to interact with classmates and teachers in a more informal environment. Hence St. Kabir School Drive In had organized an educational trip to Vintage Car and Parle – G on 14th October 2022 for the students of Std. V.
Vintage Car Museum is a private museum which houses the largest collection of vintage cars and other automobiles in the country.
With a fascinating display of 118 vintage cars, motorbikes, utility vehicles, and horse-drawn buggies, the museum showcases automobiles from around the world and different eras. It also celebrates India’s automobile heritage by displaying cars and vehicles that once belonged to the maharajas and rulers of the country. So this initiative was taken to enhance the knowledge of the students in respect of cars.
The students were amazed to see a wonderful collection of cars which included cars from distinguished brands like Rolls-Royce, Mercedes, Bentley, Maybach, Cadillac, Auburn, Daimler, Lagonda, Buick, Lincoln, and Packard, to name a few.
After that the students of Std. V visited Parle-G Biscuit factory, where they got a chance to watch the production of biscuits, right from the ingredients used to kneading to mixing to shaping to baking. They even got to taste the freshly baked biscuits. During their visit they also learnt about the different ingredients used and the source from which it is obtained, like from plants or animals.
The excited students were also taken to the auditorium of the factory and shown a small documentary capturing the whole process of production, right from mixing to packaging, of the oldest biscuit company of the country. The students were excited to see the process of production of one of their main food item, simultaneously they also got to know the food value of biscuits in a better way.
The trip helped students develop their linguistic, logical, naturalistic as well as inter and intra personal skill. It was a great learning experience. As a token of thank you the students were given the biscuits which they all enjoyed very much on the way back to school.
We are deeply thankful to Director Madam, Director Sir and the school management for arranging such trips. This beautiful journey wouldn’t have been possible without their kind support and encouragement.
