The Investiture ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly elected Student Council. Donning the mantle of accountability, they also pledge to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities.
The ‘Investiture Ceremony’ for the academic year 2022-23 was held on 4th August 2022 at St. Kabir School, Drive In. It was the occasion where the young students were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted to them by the school. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of being an important and integral part of the administrative body, ‘Student Council’ is formed every year.
Parents were invited to grace the occasion. The ceremony began with the lighting of lamp followed by Welcome Dance.
Distribution of Good work certificates were given to Old Student Council by our heads for doing great work and handling the school for the academic year 2021-22.
The Old Student Council then exchanged the Sashes and hand it over to New Student Council. The pinning of the badges was done for Student Council by Assistant Director Mrs. Pragya Pandya, Principal Mrs. Rashmi Trivedi and Vice Principal Charu Nautiyal and other school heads
This was followed by Oath Taking Ceremony of Student Council Heads and then Captains of all 4 houses, to fulfill their responsibilities towards the school.
The school flag was handed over to the newly elected Student Council by our heads. The function ended with a motivating motivational dance by students of STD VIII and IX.
The ceremony concluded with School song followed by National Anthem.
