Backed by an impressive bowling display, Dhruvin Purohit dominated with the bat as ST Kabir School (SKS) defeated Hiramani School by 125 runs in the under-16 Hiramani School Tournament at CN ‘A’ ground on Tuesday. Struggle started from the start for Hiramani after they won the toss and elected to field as Dhruvin’s patient 97 runs of 151 balls helped SKS put up a score of 246 in 79.1 overs. For Hiramani, Suraj Suryal was the pick of the lot, taking four wickets for 66 runs for his side. SKS dominated the second half of the game as they bowled out Hiramani inside 121 runs in 55.5 overs. Puru Bhatt top-scored for Hiramani with a cautious 20 runs from 53 balls while Rajvir Marwa bagged three wickets for 22 runs to see his side clinch a comfortable victory.
