Manan, Yash star in St Kabir School win Ahmedabad Mirror Bureau amsports
Manan Hingrajiya came out with an authoritative all round performance while Yash Jain troubled the rivals with the ball as St Kabir School (SKS) registered an innings and 32 runs win over Navyug High School (NHS) in multiday under-19 Diwan Ballubhai School Tournament.
At Motera `C’, Manan was the star of the show as his eight-wicket haul helped SKS bowled out their rivals for a paltry 77 in the first innings.
For NHS, Milind Mali top scored with 89-ball 25.
Manan then came to rescue his side as his 117-ball 90 helped SKS post 190 in the first innings.
For NHS, Smith Patel was the pick of the lot with four wickets.
Falling 113 runs behind, NHS batsmen again failed to fire. Milind was the top scorer with 40-ball 29 as Yash took five wickets that helped SKS bowled out their rivals for 81 in the second innings to register a comfortable win.
