Vitthal Vitthal Vitthalll Hari Om Vitthalla……

On the occasion of Janmashtami, the students of St. Kabir School, Naranpura thought of digging into the past and came up with a skit which not only gave information regarding Lord Vitthala, one of the forms of Lord Krishna, but also showed the power of devotion of the devotees and the importance of mother’s love. The skit clearly depicted the undisturbed devotion of the devotee, love and affection of a mother and Love of Lord Vitthala for his Devotee Tripura.

The students also depicted a “Jhanki” which is also known as a tableau of Shreenathji, YamunaJi and MahaPrabhuji. The anchor of the celebration sang a very beautiful bhajan of lord Krishna which made the atmosphere a lot more spiritual.

The celebration was concluded by 30 Kaanhaas and 30 radhaas beautifully clad in the traditional attires, dancing to the tunes of Lord Krishna. It was a delightful sight for all the students, teachers and parent invitees of St. Kabir School, Naranpura.
