SUPER ENERGETIC KABIRIAN VISITED AMAZING WORLD OF ANIMALS (NAV)

The super energetic Kabirians of Navrangpura were all set to start the day by exploring and enjoying the beauty of nature in the morning at 11.30 on 5th, December 2019 at Kankaria Zoo. This trip was to develop an understanding about the different species of animals . This field trip is a part  of their Environmental Science curriculum and theme based project Animal Kingdom.

The students were excited and curious to know what they would be doing in the zoo.  Mrs. Stella along with Ms.Neelam & Mrs.Mayuri gave a brief insight into the world of animals  and which all animals they will come across in the zoo. Respected Supervisor Mrs. Deepa Ma’am also added  extra knowledge to it.They saw the monkeys jumping in the cage. The children were explained that they should not tease animals and take care of them. They were next headed towards the section of the birds where explained to them different kinds of birds. They were amazed to see the white Dove and different species of parrots. They saw the huge crocodiles and the black bear. They were excited to see so many  deer. They were most amazed to see the lion roaring in the cage. Teachers explained the difference between the lion and the lioness and the names of Tiger, Lioness and Panther were also introduced to the students letting the students know that animals also have names,e.g. Ananya Lioness and Sunny Lion and Pradeep Panther. Gandhi ‘s three monkeys sculptors  were shown and  its    association  with good mind, speech and action was explained to the students .

The Little Kabirians were very eagerly waiting to see the National animal  the Tiger. Respected Deepa Madam, explained to the children about where the tiger lived and about their habitat. Last but not the least they saw the Elephant and the Hippopotamus.

 At the end of the trip they all had a smile on their little faces happy to gather knowledge about the different animal and birds.

The trip was filled with lot of fun, excitement and learning  about many  animals and birds. The students took back with them a bag full of information and developed a sense of empathy for the animals .
