 Sant Kabir School colts shine in all-round performance

Electing to bat, Ankit Rajput top scored with 71-ball 66 while Anurag Kanjani added 42 from 57 balls as SKS posted 281 in the first innings after electing to bat first. For PHSS, Mohit Doshi took three wickets.Shrey Parsania shone with the ball while the batsmen too chipped in as St Kabir School (SKS) edged out Prakash Higher Secondary School (PHSS) by virtue of the first innings lead in multiday under-16 Dhirubhai Ambani School Tournament.

Batting disappointment

Their batting, however, was a big letdown with only Shreedu Namphootri offering some resistance with 101-ball 30. Shrey was the star with ball as he picked four wickets while Ankit Rajput added three more as SKS bowled out their rivals for a paltry 74 to take the deciding 207-run first innings lead. The lead then swelled to 361when SKS declared their second innings at 154 for eight with Tushar Rawat raced to a 93-ball 83.

For PHSS, Mohit took four wickets.

Going for the kill, SKS had their rivals on the mat with Shrey picking up three wickets. But they could not finish it before the stipulated time as PHSS posted 123 for eight in the second essay.

For the losing side, Ansh Tak top scored with 50-ball 32.
