SESSION ON STRESS MANAGEMENT FOR KABIRIANS

Feelings of stress and anxiety are a part of life. Some levels of stress can actually be good for us, as the right kind of stress encourages us toward change and growth. However, when stress and anxiety exist for an extended period of time, they can become a burden or even a health risk.
A wonderful session was taken by the faculty and students of V S Hospital of Physiotherapy department along with Dr. Nipa Shah, a lecturer of SSB college of physiotherapy, came to St. Kabir School, Naranpura.
The session began by giving a pep talk on the reasons for developing stress among the students. Student of Physiotherapy enacted a short skit by recreating a real situation which students felt close to reality. Few simple exercises were also taught to the students which are really effective for relaxing the body muscles.
It was a very good session specially for the board students of X and XII who usually becomes the victims of stress and anxiety.
