Navratri Festival is the joyous way of worshipping Goddess Durga who is a portrait of colour, action, music and togetherness. To inculcate the sense of Indian Culture and unity, Navratri was celebrated at St. Kabir, Navrangpura with vigour and enthusiasm.

The students, staff and invited parents, all of them looked elegant in typical traditional attire which was a spectacular visual treat for everyone. The positivity and energy exuberating out of the colourful costumes combined with the enthusiasm of dancing to the Gujarati folk songs made the atmosphere extremely positive and enjoyable.  The celebration started with traditional ‘aarti’, followed by the Garba performances presented by groups of students of different classes.

The highlight of the programme was the visit by two Japanese students from Oteman Gakwin University ,Osaka who enjoyed thoroughly with the students and also performed garba with them .They were thrilled to learn and understand about the Indian culture & music. They also enjoyed Diwali Card making activity with student and appreciated the creativity of students a lot.

The happiness of students knew no bounds . The icing on the cake for the children was when their beloved Head Mistress Madam – Miss Renu Srivastava, their teachers and invited parents joined them and danced to the tunes of garba.
