“THE MIND IS EVERYTHING: WHAT YOU THINK, YOU BECOME”

This has been quoted by the great Gautam Buddha, the founder of the Buddhism Religion. Yoga is one of the ancient and popular practices that India has given to the world.

We are often led to believe that people are living a longer life in the Western World, but it is the quality of life, that matters the most, and the supreme quality of life can be achieved surely by Yoga.

The International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21st June, all across the world, and we, at St. Kabir, believe in holistic development of our students.

In order to create a sense of awareness and belongingness towards one’s body, soul, and mind,   Yoga was organized for three day consecutively, for different classes, ranging from std III to X. Students performed various asanas including meditation, pranayama, anulom-vilom and so on. Parents were also invited as well as yoga trainers.

Students of class IV and V were particularly thrilled to perform “dance-asanas” and “animal-asanas”, which are the special asanas created by the Art of Living for the young children.  There was a wave of excitement in the air as the students were enjoying it a lot!

The students experienced a sense of serenity, by being at peace with their own self. Not only it relaxed them, but also rejuvenated them! They also got to know that yoga is nothing less than a fun-filled adventure wherein they will explore their own self!

“Know Yoga, Know Peace,  No Yoga, No Peace.”
