KABIRIANS CREATE COLORS OF PROSPERITY!! (DRIVE IN NEW)

Rangoli is an art, origin in India in which patterns are created on the floor using materials such as colored rice, dry flour, colored sand or flower petals. It is meant to bring good luck and spread positivity and prosperity.

So in order to keep the art form as well as our Indian tradition alive, St. Kabir School Drive In New had organized Inter House Rangoli Competition on 14th October 2017.

All the houses came up with very creative designs depicting their themes. The compulsory element to be used in this competition was ‘banana leaves’.

The theme of Ruby house was ‘Drug Addiction’ while that of Sapphire house was ‘The Awakening’. The theme of Emerald house was ‘The Incandescent Bliss’ while the theme of Topaz house was ‘World Heritage City’.

All the students spoke confidently in explaining their themes to the judges. Each design and its description touched their hearts, making it really hard for the judges to decide the winner.

Emerald House emerged as the winner while Topaz House became the runner up. It was incredible to see the children presenting their artistic rangolis in an exclusive way.
