Kabirians celebrate National Doctor’s Day!

They are the fire in the chill and frost, the ice in the sweltering heat.  They are battling with a storm inside their minds and hearts, struggling perpetually with sheer persistence, to instill survival into the patient. They are the unsung heroes, the saviors, the true knights in the shining armor, equipped to not only save the day, but millions of lives across the world. They are none other than the doctors, the warriors in the white coats!

July 1st is celebrated all over India as National Doctor’s Day. Doctors are the people due to whom we stay hale and hearty, and at peace with our bodies. Doctor’s Day in India was established by the Government of India in 1991, to be celebrated as it is the birth and death anniversary of the most famous physician of India Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy (Dr. B C Roy). He was honored with the great Indian civilian award Bharat Ratna. It is a great observance in India which helps in fulfilling the actual need of doctors and physicians in the lives of everyone as well as their significant roles and responsibilities.

St. Kabir celebrated this day with the doctor parents, who had been invited to grace the celebration. They addressed the students regarding the medical career and also imparted the guidance to the young generation.

The doctors also shared various experiences that they have had in their career, the struggles, hardships as well as the pursuit of happiness they had. They even motivated the children and elucidated the importance of discipline, dedication, perseverance, and hard work. Awareness regarding the medical science as a prospective career and as a rapidly advancing field was also imparted to the children.
