KABIRIANS ACCOLADED AS THEY EXHIBIT THEIR ART OF WRITING….. (DRIVE IN NEW)

Handwriting is an essential skill for children which enables them to develop fine motor skills and confidence.

Good handwriting is so important in the modern world and in all walks of life that people are judged by their handwriting.

A neat and beautiful writing always seeks the attention of others. To develop awareness and to keep the legacy of good handwriting alive, Lalji Mehrotra Lions School had organized an ‘Inter School Handwriting Competition’ in collaboration with ‘The Open Page’, Educational Newspaper on 11th November 2017 for Std. I to V.

Around 400 students from various schools of Ahmedabad participated enthusiastically in the event showcasing their best and neatest handwriting.

They were judged on the basis of neatness, formation, legibility and spacing. The competition brought out the talent and creativity of the students.

There was neck to neck competition and the judges had a tough time deciding the winners. To inspire children to inculcate the habit of writing, winners were given trophies.

Bhavina Menghani of Std. I C of St. Kabir School Drive In New wrote so beautifully that she acquired the third position in Handwriting competition and was awarded with a trophy and a certificate.

Pushti Shah of Std. IV B also grabbed the first prize in Handwriting Competition and was bestowed with a trophy as well as a certificate for her flawless handwriting.

The importance of good handwriting was re-emphasized through the competition.
