JOURNEY TO THE SPACE EXCRUSION ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization)

Students of Std. V and VI of St. Kabir, Navrangpura, who visited the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) centre recently, had an enriching experience.

They all were well guided by the Research Center Educational Tutor who explained them how ISRO works. They also had an interaction about the planets, satellites and famous astronauts. They also explored different kind of prototypes of satellites and launch vehicles.

Students were amazed to know how astronauts communicate with the people on the earth and live in the spacecrafts. They were also informed about the upcoming project of ISRO to launch 114 satellites from space port of Sriharikota, Andra Pradesh on February 15.  It was great fun watching 3D movie at the end which was about the launching of spacecrafts and the life of astronauts in Space. This visit also inspired few students to take up careers in aeronautical and robotics engineering.

Really , It was a day to get an overview about our space system for all children.
