AN EXCITING LEARNING OPPORTUNITY FOR STUDENTS AT ST. KABIR SCHOOL!!!

MUN FOR INDIA (MFI) is an initiative of WORLDVIEW, a person-centric, experiential learning platform for students with a focus on developing transformative leadership. Through this CONFERENCE students will be sensitized to the needs of the future and their critical leadership skills such as public speaking, negotiation and critical thinking will be developed. Simultaneously, students will gather information about global issues & discuss various alternatives to tackle them.  This year being the 2nd season of this Conference, a total 200 delegates of 14 top schools of the city are participating on the 27th and 28th of October to be hosted by St Kabir School at zero registration cost.

 

The topics on which the 200 delegates will be discussing in the 4 committees are as follows:

UNODC: Combating Wildlife and Forest Crime

UNCF: Achieving global literacy

UNDP: Developing Smart Cities

UNGA: Reducing Corruption in Least Developed and Developing Nations

 

A highly qualified team of executives will be conducting the event as the Chairpersons and 4 Students of St Kabir School will be the Vice Chairs.

The organizing team consisting of 10 experienced students (who have attended many MUNs in the past) and the Creative Advisor of the school have undergone a special training session in Hyderabad conducted by executives from UNODC and WORLD VIEW as knowledge partners of MFI.

 

The Conference will begin with an Orientation and training session followed by Committee sessions interspersed with Faculty advisory sessions as well. Participating students will also get to hear eminent speakers sharing from their experience and expertise.
