Educational Trip to Kankaria Kids city Class III (NAV)

Field trips are fun! You get to put down the books and pencils and drive to a new location with interesting things to see and experience. Even the most vivid living book can be supplemented by a real life experience. It is their own little mini-city where they can get the best of education as well as entertainment at the same time. The things our children have only read about come alive as they are seen, heard, or even felt during a field trip. It is their own little mini-city where they can get the best of education as well as entertainment at the same time.
So to experience the things in live we went to Kids city Kankaria. And the students learnt about these things in live:
1) T.V. Studio (Meet the CM)- Interview was taken by students of Chief minister of Ahmedabad -Mr, Vijay Rupani in the form of questions and was shown directly live on the TV.
2) 108 Ambulance Service was first envisioned by a retired doctor and former director of the Andhra Pradesh Handicapped Department. When an emergency is reported through 108, the call taker gathers the needed basic information and dispatches appropriate services. Emergency help dispatched through this process is expected to reach the site of the emergency in an average of 18 minutes. Pre-hospital care will be given to patients being transported to the nearest hospital.
3) Fire station- Students were first shown the video of what safety measures should be taken in case of fire. Then the live demo was shown by using the fire extinguishers and the students did the same.
4) Theatre- Some of the students played the role of freedom fighters like Rani Laxmi Bai , Subhash Chandra Bose,.. followed by puppet show and magic show.
5) Janmarg -BRTS—Students were explained about Janmarg, also known as Ahmedabad BRTS, is a bus rapid transit system in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It was inaugurated in October 2009. The system is named Janmarg, which means the people’s way in Gujarati. They experienced it by sitting in the BRTS .
6) Ice cream factory- Students were shown the video of different stages of how ice cream is made. And the live machines were shown to them by giving them fresh ice-cream which was made in front of them.
It was a very educative and extremely exciting experience .All the kids enjoyed a lot.
