COLORS OF RANGOLI SPREAD ACROSS ST.KABIR SCHOOL, NAVRANGPURA

As a part of Indian festivities, a colorful and traditional art makes its way with aplomb and enthusiasm. Gracing the entrances is the vibrant display of rangoli that is seen to be the harbinger of good luck and years of happiness. Rangoli is known to be the first step of conducting any auspicious activity.

Rangoli along with preventing negative energy, remind us to keep thinking positively, so that we make our lives prosperous. St Kabr School believes in promoting traditions and inculcating their value and importance amongst students. With the same thought, I.H. Rangoli competition was conducted on 2nd NOV, 2018 at the Navrangpura branch to commence the auspicious festival of Diwali.

Different houses took different themes with a combination of modern day scenarios and ancient Indian art and mythology. RUBY House’s theme was Human Safety, SAPPHIRE House’s theme was Kalayatnam, EMERALD House’s theme was Dashavatar and TOPAZ House’s theme was virtuous vigorous world. House participants created some amazing designs using their creativity and innovative ideas. Also they used this year’s Compulsory element Coconut shell in unique ways in their designs. It was a sight of pleasure and pride to see students full of enthusiasm and excitement. They made it hard for the judges to select one from all as judges where impressed by all the four houses and the way of presenting their themes and delivering an impactful speech on the same.

TOPAZ House was announced as winner while EMERALD House stood as runner up. A competition full of colors and creativity is all our students needed to start on their festival with.
