Children’s Day – honouring children

Children’s Day — a day dedicated to children — is observed as an event across the world to celebrate childhood and promote awareness about children’s welfare. As per the tradition of every year, Children’s Day was celebrated in St. Kabir, Navrangpura on 14th November with immense joy, enthusiasm and magnificence.

 The campus buzzed with excitement and joy of students. The celebration began with special assembly organized by teachers with a lot of enthusiasm  for their beloved students. It started with a prayer conducted by the teachers. Teachers presented group songs to entertain the students.

 Apart from the Assembly, numerous exciting  activities  for eg: lemon and spoon race, langadi race, balancing the books race ,housie ,memory game ,quizzes etc were conducted in the school . A few “Just-A Minute” gameswere also planned for the students. “Every child is an artist”, keeping this fact in mind and to explore the creative potentials in the young minds of secondary children, an inter school drawing and colouring competition was also organized by Rangrezz. Famous RJ Payal also came to school to celebrate the children’s day with them and interacted with students. All the participants were honoured with participation certificates at the end of the competition.

 Young Chef Activity was conducted by Primary section & secondary section, in which students prepared many easy and delicious food items by them selves and shared it with their friends, ayaas, guards and teachers.  Sweets were also distributed to all the students.  It was indeed a  fun-filled day for all the students.
