Budding space enthusiasts visit ISRO!

“Earth is a small town with many neighborhoods in a very big universe.” ― Ron Garan

This quote certainly holds true for the students of VIth, who visited the Space Exhibition organized by ISRO on 3rd October, Tuesday. The exhibition began with the explanation of the launch, functions, and roles of the satellites- an integral part of the Space Program at ISRO. It was followed by an interactive session, where the inquisitive students asked questions and were eager to know more about the Space Science.  Various exhibits fuelled their curiosity and the scientists were ever-ready to encourage and motivate the students, by providing more and more knowledge about it. They thoroughly enjoyed the ethereal and surreal experience of viewing the space and other celestial objects in a form of a short film in a small dome theatre.

The students were also taken to watch a short documentary on the MOM: Mars Orbiter Mission, also known popularly as Mangalyaan, and they were awestruck by the magnitude of the efforts put in by our dedicated scientists!
