Students of St.Kabir, Navrangpura filled up with feeling of patriotism and pride gathered at school open ground to celebrate our 73rd Independence Day. The event started at 8:00 A.M. amongst the presence of students and school staff.

The National Flag was unfurled by Head Mistress Mam. Students and teachers sang National Anthem with great pride and enthusiasm. To mark the auspicious celebrations, a range of events from speech to dance took place. The event started with a guiding speech on our country’s past struggles to build a Nation like this and also on our duties towards our Motherland by our respected Mam. Students of STD. 1st & 2nd enhanced the event by a role play on freedom fighters of India which included great leaders such as Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Bhagat Singh and many more and kept the audience engaged. A feeling of patriotism was spread amongst all by the soulful voice of STD.VII students and their class teacher. Later Neerjara from STD IX enlightened everyone with her speech on sacrifices made by our ancestors and freedom fighters for the free nation that we are living in. Some teachers graced the event by their wonderful voices and sang patriotic songs bringing in the spirit of National Love amongst all. The program was concluded by an energetic performance by the students.

Our Head Mistress Mam explained everyone the importance of their part and duty towards society and urged them to do their best for our Nation.
